Sandra Salensky

Sandra Salensky is a mother, a friend, a daughter, a reliable employee, an advocate, and a wife thanks to being in long term recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. Her son was just 10 years old when she entered recovery and is one of her biggest supporters. Together, they have learned that addiction is a family disease, and they are recovering together.

Sandra has worked in the recovery field since 2016. She is currently a Certified Recovery Specialist supervisor and Center of Excellence program specialist at JADE Wellness Center, where she helped create their peer support program. Sandra excels at providing support to others seeking recovery, no matter what pathway they choose. Her journey shows the participants she serves that they too can recover and live productive, impactful lives.

Originally from Apollo, Pennsylvania, today Sandra lives with her husband and two cats in Allegheny County.
