What’s Happening?

The third annual, city-wide Pittsburgh Recovery Walk will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, starting at 8am in the Strip District!

8:00am – 11th & Waterfront Parking Lot (Across the street from the Heinz History Center)

  • Registration and Check-in (Grab your t-shirt! Find your team!)
  • Coffee and snacks
  • Free Yoga Class
  • DJ Kelli Burns
  • Community groups and activities

8:45am – 11th & Waterfront Parking Lot (Across the street from the Heinz History Center)

  • Remarks by Sally Wiggin
  • Personal stories of recovery from western Pennsylvanians
  • Keynote speaker Dr. Michael T. Flaherty
  • Performance by the Krunk Movement
  • Walk Kickoff led by Colonel Eagleburger’s High Steppin Good Time Band

10:00am – Market Square

  • Remarks by Jennifer Smith, Secretary of Pennsylvania’s Dept. Drug & Alcohol Programs
  • Musical performance by Jim Donovan & the Sun King Warriors
  • Personal stories of recovery from western Pennsylvanians
  • Booths, gifts, kids activities
