Margo Manjerovic

Margo is a passionate advocate for recovery, mental health, equality, Black rights, and the LGBTQ+ community. She achieved sobriety in 2017 and brings both personal experience and professional knowledge to the field of recovery. With more than six years of experience in mental health, she has provided support to a diverse array of individuals, including LGBTQ+ youth, people of all ages in mental health treatment facilities, children in foster care, and adults in rehabilitation programs. While residing in Asheville, NC, Margo collaborated closely with the LGBTQ+ community, particularly focusing on assisting transgender youth during some of the most challenging phases of their journeys.

Her own healing from religious trauma and mental health struggles inspired her career path. Throughout the years, she has gained valuable experience in sponsoring women and participating in 12-Step programs. Since embarking on her journey, Margo has recognized the vital connection between mental health and sobriety and is dedicated to helping others navigate their own mental health journeys.
