The purpose of the Pittsburgh Recovery Walk is to celebrate the many roads to recovery from addiction and all those who travel them. Specifically, the walk aims to 1) celebrate recovery and recovery supports, 2) eliminate stigma, and 3) showcase resources in our region.

The 2025 Pittsburgh Recovery Walk is happening THI

The 2025 Pittsburgh Recovery Walk is happening THIS SATURDAY, September 13th, from 9 am to 1 pm! We're thrilled to have you join us, so here’s everything you need to know to plan your day.

Day's Schedule of Events: We have a full day packed with activities and events for everyone! Highlights include the 2025 Pittsburgh Recovery Award Celebration, an interactive photo booth, and inspiring speakers and storytellers. Read all about our featured guests at pghrecoverywalk.org/featured-guests/.

Bring the whole family! Kids can enjoy airbrush tattoos, balloon animals, giant games, and a bounce house, while music lovers can groove to live music and a DJ. Don’t forget to explore our Resource Fair, featuring over 90 organizations dedicated to supporting recovery. To see what groups will be there, visit pghrecoverywalk.org/resource-fair-participants/.

Walk Route: The mile-long walk through downtown will kick off at 11:30 am, led by the Munhall Community Band. Please note that roads will close at 11 am, so plan to be in place early.

Parking: For your convenience, several parking options are available near the event. However, we encourage attendees to use public transportation or bicycles whenever possible. If driving, you can choose between hourly or $5 flat-rate parking in lots adjacent to the event, with metered on-street parking also available nearby.
