If you want to access virtual recovery support, consider doing it yourself! Skype, Zoom, and others like them are free and low-cost platforms that you–yes, YOU–can use to host a recovery support meeting. You just need a computer or smart phone.
Recovery Support Groups
In light of the coronavirus, recovery support programs in Pittsburgh have been forming online meetings. Reach out to other people in your fellowship and ask about online meetings. Someone will be able to send you a link to log-in.
Pittsburgh AA Online Meetings – Online meetings listed on the Pgh AA site.
Tri-State Region of Narcotics Anonymous – Meeting directory of in-person and online meetings listed on the Tri-State Region of NA site.
Pittsburgh SMART Recovery – Self-Management and Recovery Training program that’s science-based. Local online meetings are Saturdays from 10 am – 12 pm and Wednesdays from 7 pm – 9 pm. For the Zoom links call or text Brian at 470-263-5725.
Pittsburgh Heart of Recovery – Meditation meeting for anyone struggling with addiction. Online meeting from 7 pm – 8:30 pm every Wednesday. Contact Barb for the Zoom link at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prevention Point Pittsburgh – As of now, PPP is still operating on its normal schedule in its normal locations.
